Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan will pay an official visit to the United Kingdom on 14-15 April 2008 upon the invitation of Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs David Miliband.

In the discussions, besides bilateral relations, Turkey`s EU membership negotiations, and regional and international issues will be taken up.

Minister Babacan will get together with British businessmen, and finance and media circles during the visit; and will give a speech at RUSI (Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies), a British think tank.
