We condemn in the strongest terms the terror attack that took place last night in Israel at a Jewish religious school, which unfortunately claimed the lives of 8 students and left many others wounded.

In this regard, we once again would like to emphasize that terror has no religion, nationality or geography. Terror is a crime against humanity.

The principal aim of this last terror attack, targeting lives of innocent people, is peace efforts. Therefore, we are convinced that the most effective response to such provocations can be given by making progress in the process started in Annapolis and persevering in common sense. We sincerely wish that this atrocious attack will strengthen the will and resolve of the parties to reach peace.

Turkey will continue its active involvement in efforts aimed at achieving a just and lasting solution between Israel and Palestine on the basis of two states living side by side in peace and security.
