Turkey strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Helmand Province in southern Afghanistan that took place yesterday (March 19) which killed 5 persons, including Mr. Dad Mohammad Khan, Member of Parliament from the Helmand Province.

We stand in solidarity with the Afghan people against the scourge of terrorism, the common enemy of humanity. We also share the Afghan people’s grief and indignation.

Turkey, as always, will continue to do her utmost to provide assistance for the assurance of peace, prosperity and security of the brotherly Afghan people.
