H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Turkey will pay a visit to Hungary, upon the invitation of H.E. Mr. Peter
Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, to attend the
opening of the Budapest Office of the Turkic Speaking Countries Cooperation
Council (Turkic Council) on September 19th, 2019.
The Foreign Ministers of the members of the Turkic Council, Azerbaijan,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the observer member, Hungary, will
attend the opening.
Minister Çavuşoğlu will be received by H.E. Mr. Viktor Orban, Prime
Minister of Hungary, and will have bilateral meetings with his counterparts
on the margins of his visit.
With the opening of the aforementioned Office, cooperation between the
Turkic Council and Hungary, who obtained observer status at the Turkic
Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly in 2014, and at the Turkic
Council and Turkic Academy in 2018, will continue to develop on
institutional basis.
