The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Salahaddin Bashir will pay a visit to Turkey at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan between 22-23 February 2008.

In the discussions to take place during the visit, beside bilateral relations, regional matters such as the Middle East Peace Process, Lebanon and Iraq will be taken up.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning the setting up of a political consultation mechanism between the two countries is also envisaged in the course of the visit.
