Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany H.E. Mr. Guido Westerwelle, will visit Turkey on 1 July 2011, upon the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu.

In their meeting in Istanbul, the two Ministers are expected to take up Turkish-German bilateral relations, Turkey’s EU membership process, Cyprus and regional/international issues.

It is believed that the visit of Minister H.E. Mr. Westerwelle, will provide an occasion to further strengthen and develop the multi-dimensional relations and comprehensive cooperation between Turkey and Germany.
