No: 69, 12 March 2018, Press Release Regarding the Sixth Turkish-Russian Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting

On 12-14 March 2018, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will pay a visit to Moscow to attend the Sixth Turkish-Russian Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting, a sub-mechanism of the Turkish-Russian High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC).

At the Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting co-chaired by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the sides will have comprehensive exchange of views on bilateral relations as well as the current regional and international affairs of common interest.

This meeting will also lay the groundwork for the HLCC to be held in Turkey this year under the co-chairmanship of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, and H.E. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.

During his stay in Moscow, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay a visit to the Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT), deliver a speech on “Turkish Foreign Policy” at the MGIMO University, and meet with chief editors of prominent Russian media.
