We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack that took place in Stockholm, on 11 December, 2010. We wish a speedy recovery to those injured as a result of this attack, which displays once again the merciless character of terrorism.

Turkey has always strongly advocated that regardless of their objective, terrorist attacks which targets innocent people are unacceptable. Turkey emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in the fight against terrorism. We would like to reiterate our strong feelings of solidarity with the friendly people of Sweden and the Swedish Government in these difficult days.
