We have learnt that Israeli military forces carried out attacks against numerous locations in Gaza on the grounds for retaliation to a rocket launched from Gaza to Israel. We strongly condemn the above-mentioned disproportionate attacks. It is not possible to accept these attacks, which resulted in the injury of innocent Palestinian civilians under any circumstances.

It is inevitable that this aggressive attitude will disrupt the peace process and the efforts to maintain tranquillity.

Normalization of Turkey’s relations with Israel does not mean that we will keep silent in the face of such attacks targeting the Palestinian people. On the contrary, we will continue to pursue closely the Palestinian cause in the face of the acts of Israel which are contrary to international law and first of all, human conscience.
