We wish success to the new Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to be formed by Dr. Hassan Rouhani, who will assume the Presidency following the elections which were held on 14 June 2013 in our neighbor Iran, in its services for the serenity and welfare of the friendly people of Iran.

As it has been the case so far, Turkey will maintain its cooperation also with the new Iranian Government on the basis of good neighborly relations, mutual benefit and common interest.”
