Political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Turkey and Italy at the level of Undersecretaries will be held in Ankara on 28 May 2013, between delegations headed by the Undersecretary of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Feridun Sinirlioğlu and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Ambassador Michele Valensise.

Bilateral relations, issues related to the EU and the Cyprus question, as well as current regional and international affairs are expected to be discussed during the consultations.
