President Abdullah Gül and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan have sent messages of symphathy and condolences to President Hamid Karzai following this assassination attempt and terrorist attack, which in the person of President Karzai target the peace of the Afghan people and the atmosphere of stability in the country.

On this sad occasion, we once again wish to emphasize that terrorism has no religion, nationality or geography. Terror is a crime against humanity.
