Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin paid a working visit to Istanbul upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu, on 29 January 2016.

During the tete-a-tete meeting and meeting between delegations, preparations for the 5th Turkey-Ukraine High Level Strategic Council Meeting to be held in the forthcoming months as well as bilateral relations, regional developments and current situation in Crimea were discussed.
