Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Khalid Al-Attiyah, visited Turkey on 9 May 2015 within the scope of the preparations of the High-Level Strategic Committee, which was established with the Joint Accord document signed on 19 December 2014.

During the meetings held within the framework of the visit, Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu and his Qatari counterpart reviewed the current situation in the fields of cooperation included in the scope of High-Level Strategic Committee, and exchanged views on finalizing the agreements on the agenda and on the implementation of projects.

Latest developments in the region were also discussed by the Foreign Ministers during the meetings.
