Minister of Foreign Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó on 24 February, 2015 in Budapest, where he accompanies Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu attending the Second Meeting of Turkey-Hungary High Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

In the meeting in which bilateral relations were analyzed in all aspects, the subject of holding the second meeting of the Visegrád Four-Turkey meeting during the Meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers was discussed.

At the meeting in which views on energy security and cooperation possibilities in this field were exchanged, the subject of the countries of the region coming together in order to share their views on the field of energy was agreed upon.

Furthermore, developments in Iraq and Syria, and the issue of combat against DEASH were discussed.
