Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioğlu is in Paris

Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioğlu attended the conference titled “The Victims of Ethnic and Religious Persecution in the Middle East”, hosted by French and Jordanian Foreign Ministers in Paris on 8 September 2015.

The conference was organized to exchange views on the responsibility to be shouldered by the international community and on the steps to be jointly taken for resolving problems faced by the people that are adversely affected by the crises in the Middle East and to discuss possible opportunities for cooperation. In the opening speech, François Hollande, President of France e stated that he was cognizant of the difficulties that Turkey, Iraq and Jordan went through and that the refugee issue should be assessed in terms of humanitarian, political and legal aspects.
