Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Tripoli on 30 May 2016 and met with the President and Members of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mayor of Tripoli. At the meetings, latest developments in Libya as well as bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed. This visit provided an important opportunity to emphasize once again that Turkey stands by the people of Libya and the Government of National Accord in this difficult transition process.
