On 3 February 2017 Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu paid an official visit to Mexico – the last stop of his tour to Latin American countries that included also visits to Argentina, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic.
At the beginning of the visit, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu inaugurated Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency's (TIKA) Mexico City Office.
Afterwards Minister Çavuşoğlu held bilateral talks with his counterpart Luis Videgaray. The two Ministers discussed bilateral relations and regional issues. The Ministers then joined the meeting between the delegations.
After the meeting, the two Ministers held a joint press conference.
