Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu accompanies President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the visits to Gulf countries Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar on February 12-15, 2017.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia, the second stop of his visits to Gulf countries, following Bahrain. President Erdoğan was welcomed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz at the airport on February 13, 2017.

During the visit, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

Following the offical welcoming ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a meeting with King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and attended the luncheon in his honor hosted by the King.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and his Saudi counterpart Adel Al-Jubeir discussed bilateral and regional issues during the visit.

President Erdoğan having concluded his visit to Saudi Arabia, proceeded to Qatar as the last stop of his visit to Gulf countries with the delegation members accompanying him on February 14, 2017.
