Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Spain on 8-9 February 2017.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain Alfonso María Dastis attended the conference hosted by Elcano Royal Institute. At the conference, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu touched upon the priorities of Turkish foreign policy and responded to the questions posed by attendees.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with the Spanish media and answered questions regarding Turkish foreign policy and recent developments. During the visit, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu held a meeting with Mr.Agramunt, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Consequently, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu had a comprehensive meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain Alfonso María Dastis and discussed the issues on the common agenda of the two countries.
