Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Paris to meet UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean Yves Le Drian in Paris on 5 October 2017.

Minister Çavuşoğlu presented Distinguished Service Award of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey to Director General Bokova.

In his address in the Special Session of the UNESCO Executive Board, Minister Çavuşoğlu reiterated Turkey’s continued support to UNESCO.

Within the margins of the visit Minister Çavuşoğlu discussed bilateral relations, regional and international developments with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean Yves Le Drian.
