Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accompanied President Erdoğan, who paid a state visit to Uzbekistan on 29 April-1 May 2018.

On April 30, Monday, President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony by President Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.

President Erdoğan and President Mirziyoyev co-chaired the talks between the delegations following their bilateral meeting.

During the visit, Turkey-Uzbekistan High Level Strategic Cooperation Council has been established and various bilateral agreements for cooperation have been signed.

On the same day, President Erdoğan visited the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, and addressed the Majlis members.

President Erdoğan also attended Turkey-Uzbekistan Business Forum.

On May 1, Tuesday, upon the completion of his program in Tashkent, President Erdogan visited Bukhara.
