Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accompanied President Erdoğan, who paid a state visit to Republic of Korea on 2-3 May 2018.

On May 2, Wednesday, President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony by President Moon Jae-in of South Korea.

Following the meetings between President Erdoğan and President Moon, and between delegations, various agreements were signed.

During the visit, President Erdoğan visited the National Assembly of South Korea, and met with Chang Sye-kyun, Speaker of the National Assembly.

On 2-3 May 2018, President Erdoğan received the executives of LG, Hanwha, Daelim, Hyundai, SK and GS firms.

President Erdoğan completed his program in South Korea with a visit to Samsung Digital City on 3 May 2018.
