Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Baku on 14-15 March 2018 to accompany Prime Minister Yıldırım participating in the Sixth Baku Global Forum and also to attend the First Quadrilateral Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Iran.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze of Georgia on 15 March 2018. At the meeting, the issues of cooperation between the two countries and further strengthening economic-trade relations were discussed.

On the same day, the First Quadrilateral Foreign Ministerial of Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Iran, which will contribute to developing regional cooperation and coordination was held.
