Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Vancouver, Canada to attend the “Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Security and Stability on the Korean Peninsula”, jointly hosted by the Canadian and US Foreign Ministers on 15-16 January 2018.

During his visit to Vancouver, Minister Çavuşoğlu officially opened the new chancery of the Turkish Consulate General in Vancouver on January 15 and came together with Turkish citizens.

Together with the participation of Canadian scholars and representatives of think-tanks in the meeting that was held at the Peter Wall Institute of the University of British Columbia, humanitarian and enterprising foreign policy of Turkey was discussed on January 16.

Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the “Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Security and Stability on the Korean Peninsula”.

Within the margins of the Foreign Ministerial, Minister Çavuşoğlu and Rex Tillerson, US Secretary of State held a bilateral meeting.
