Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Tehran on the occasion of Turkey-Iran-Russian Federation trilateral summit on Syria that was held on September 7, Friday, with the participation of President Erdoğan.

On September 6, Thursday upon his arrival to Tehran, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif.

On September 7, Friday, President Erdoğan held separate meetings with President Hassan Rouhani of Iran and President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.

Following the meetings, Turkey-Iran-Russian Federation Trilateral Summit convened with the participation of the three leaders.

President Erdoğan, Iranian President Rouhani, and Russian President Putin held a joint press conference.

At the end of the Summit, the Joint Declaration http://www.mfa.gov.tr/iran-rusya-turkiye-ortak-aciklamasi_en.en.mfa was adopted.
