Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu paid a working visit to Beijing on 14-15 June 2018 upon the invitation of Wang Yi, State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

On 14 June, Thursday, Minister Çavuşoğlu visited Huawei, one of the leading global providers of information and communications technology infrastructure.

On June 15, Friday, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Vice President Wang Qishan of the People’s Republic of China. At the meeting, common will to further strengthen Turkey-China relations in all fields was underlined, and views on ongoing and future joint projects were exchanged.

During the visit, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with the executives of leading Chinese companies. Minister Çavuşoğlu stated Turkey’s expectations from China to increase its investments in Turkey, and discussed cooperation projects.

Minister Çavuşoğlu held a meeting with State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi of the People’s Republic of China. At the meeting, two Ministers discussed Turkey-China bilateral relations and regional developments.
