Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accompanied President Erdoğan during his official visit to Hungary on October 8-9, 2018.

On Monday, October 8, President Erdoğan held a meeting with President Janos Ader of Hungary.

Following the meeting, President Erdoğan received Prime Minister Victor Orban and Speaker of the National Assembly Laszlo Köver.

Minister Çavuşoğlu met with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto. At the meeting, steps to be taken to further improve Turkey-Hungary strategic partnership in all areas were discussed.

On Tuesday, October 9, two Ministers had another meeting.

President Erdoğan addressed the Turkish-Hungarian Business Forum.

President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Victor Orban of Hungary inaugurated the tomb of Gül Baba, which has been jointly restorated.

President Erdoğan also visited Turkish Heroes’ Cemetery, a symbol of deep-rooted historical ties of friendship between Turkey and Hungary.
