Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu’s visit to Belgium to attend the NATO Foreign Ministerial Meeting, 31 March 2017

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Belgium to attend the NATO Foreign Ministerial Meeting held in Brussels, on 31 March 2017.

During the working session, NATO Foreign Ministers elaborated on the strategic issues such as fight against terrorism and transatlantic bond. NATO’s relations with Russia were discussed at the working lunch.

At the NATO-Ukraine Commission, Ministers exchanged views on the current security situation in eastern Ukraine, the reform efforts of Ukraine and Ukraine’s relations with the Alliance.

In the margins of the NATO Foreign Ministerial, Minister Çavuşoğlu had bilateral talks with his counterparts from Poland, Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Estonia and Germany.
