US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson paid his first visit to Turkey on 30 March 2017.

During his visit Secretary Tillerson was received by President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Yıldırım.

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Secretary Tillerson exchanged views on bilateral and regional issues.

Turkey-US delegations, headed by Minister Çavuşoğlu and Secretary Tillerson, discussed all aspects of Turkey-US relations and current regional-international issues.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Secretary of State Tillerson held a joint press conference and replied questions on the visit and the current agenda.
