Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız received Ambassador Igor Bolboceanu of Moldova on 3 February 2017.

Ambassador Bolboceanu presented Deputy Minister Ambassador Yıldız the congratulatory messages addressed to Turkish President, Parliament Speaker, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs by their Moldovan counterparts on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Moldova.

During the meeting, the two sides confirmed that 2016 was a very fruitful year in terms of Turkish-Moldovan relations, many high level contacts and visits took place, and that this momentum will be maintained in 2017.

During the meeting, the preparations of the planned visit of Deputy Minister Ambassador Yıldız to Moldova on 18-21 February 2017 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations were also discussed.

Deputy Minister Ambassador Yıldız noted that, in accordance with the joint will at Presidential level, our cooperation in every field will proceed with concrete results, and, that Turkey will continue to support Moldova.
