New Turkish Embassy premises, located at A.Pumpura iela, 2, Riga, Latvia officially inaugurated on July 19, 2008. 

        A concert was given by Dr. Emre Aracı, Composer and Music Historian, at the courtyard of the Embassy with Glasperlenspiel Orchestra. It was a themed concert of the European musical tradition in the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century. The eloquent pieces of the concert was played by the Glasperlenspielen Orchestra, comprising of distinguished Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian musicians.
Following the concert the photo exhibition “Memento” by H.E.Mr. Ivars Pundurs, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia in Ankara was opened at the Embassy Gallery which was composed of photographs of his moments in Turkey. 

        The cultural programme which was followed by a reception was attended by 200 Latvian, Turkish and international guests.
