Commercial and Economic Relations between Turkey and Poland

The bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Poland amounted to 6.45 billion Dollars in 2018 (Turkish exports: 3.34 billion Dollars; imports: 3.1 billion Dollars).

Turkey’s main items of exports to Poland are motor cars, parts and accessories for motor vehicles and tractors; while its main import items from Poland are parts and motor cars, accessories for motor vehicles, compression-ignition internal combustion piston engines and meat of bovine animals.

Foreign direct investments from Poland to Turkey between 2002 and 2018 amounted to 36 million Dollars, while the figure for the investments from Turkey to Poland in the same period was 78 million Dollars.

Last (fourth) session of the Turkey-Poland Regular Economic Consultation Mechanism took place on 7 March 2019 in Warsaw.

Over 646 thousand Polish tourists visited Turkey in 2018, with an increase of 118 % compared to the previous year.
