Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CoE) on 15 February 2018.

At the meeting held between Minister Çavuşoğlu and CoE Secretary General Jagland, Minister Çavuşoğlu underlined the importance of Turkey’s fight against terrorist organizations, reiterated Turkye’s expectations from CoE and its member states. Turkey-CoE common agenda was also discussed during the meeting.
