We are concerned with the arrests made during the Israeli operations of more than 30 high level Palestinian officials, including PA Education Minister Nasser Shaer, members of the Palestinian Legislative Council, and mayors.

We are of the opinion that such developments do not serve any constructive objective, at a time when building confidence between the parties is needed.
