Numerous people were killed and wounded as a result of the terror attacks which occurred yesterday in Algeria.

Turkey has always stressed that terrorism, which has no religion, nationality and geography, should not be condoned in anyway; should be combatted vigorously within international solidarity and cooperation.

Turkey, while strongly condemning this terror attack targeting innocent people in Algeria, reiterates its appeal for joint efforts against terrorism.

We wish God’s mercy for those who lost their lives at the terror attacks, express our profound condolences to the families of the victims and brotherly people of Algeria and extend our wishes for speedy recovery for the wounded.
